Breakfast

Wonderful waffles

Top your waffles with fresh or canned fruit (such as pears, peaches or pineapple slices) and a drizzle of maple syrup for a delicious breakfast treat you can’t wait to eat.

Cottage cheese and fruits

Garnish your bowl of cottage cheese with banana slices, sweet blueberries, roasted slivered almonds and a drizzle of honey. Fantastic!

Dried fruit galore

Add generous amounts of dried fruits like cranberries, raisins, blueberries, apricots and dates to muffin, banana bread and pancake recipes to take your breakfast to the next level.

Smoothies

For a tasty, refreshing breakfast that’s always in season combine milk or fortified soy drink, yogurt and frozen fruit in a blender. If you find you’re not very hungry in the morning, take your smoothie with you in a thermos and enjoy it on your way to work.

Bagels 2.0

Rev up bagels and cream cheese by topping with raspberries or slices of peach or pear. Also try spreading goat cheese on a piece of French bread and topping with strawberry slices. C’est si bon!

Perk up breakfast staples

Add diced or dried fruit to cereal, pancakes, waffles and yogurt. Bingo!
